IATROGENESIS

Iatrogenesis (noun) — the unintentional causation of an unfavorable health condition (such as disease, injury, infection, or an adverse drug reaction) during the process of providing medical care (such as surgery, drug treatment, hospitalization, or diagnostic testing).

Basically you got fucked over by the medical system. It's more common than you may think. Hundreds of thousands, that we know of, die every year by the hands of doctors. Millions have been harmed but survived, with many being left with debilitating chronic health issues such as PSSD.
